The first Coronavirus lockdown hit our local highstreet businesses hard: most were already struggling prior to the lockdown but the lack of sales has pushed them to the brink. Some have already closed down permanently and more could be on the way. Now more than ever, it’s vital that as a community, we work together and step up to help them, before it’s too late…

We want to share what Wotton can offer YOU. There’s so many services and products available in our small highstreet; but people don’t realise it! We aim to produce a list of services from all the shops on Wotton highstreet and make this easily accessible for shoppers of all ages.

First comes our online service: soon you’ll be able to use our mini search to find the products and services you need locally. We’re gathering data from shopkeepers to make your shopping experience as straightforward as possible. In line with this, our new, interactive map can show you where to find the shops you need in town and when they’re open.

The next phase is to release a mini paper directory and hand-deliver it to houses in Wotton and surrounding villages detailing these services to make local shopping even easier to those inexperienced with the online world.

We hope you’ll join us on our mission to bring the Wotton shopping experience back to life.
